CITY BOARD.
THIS DAY. A special meeting of llie electors for West Ward No. 1, and East Ward No. 8, -W§.» held at the City Board office at noon this day. There was a very poor attendance of electors. Mr. James G-eorge and Mr. John Sceats were nominated for West Ward No. 1, and # Mr. Frederick Bugden was nominated for Bast Ward No. 3. No other <Jandidates being nominated, the Eeturning Officer, G-. Maurice O'Rorke, Esq., declared Messrs. George" and Seeats duly elected for West Ward No. 1, and Mr. Frederick Bugden for East Ward No. 3. The whole proceedings were of a very quiet nature, and occupied about a quarter of an hour of the electors' time.
