He said officers of the Department of Internal Affairs would visit Akaroa shortly and he proposed to call a central meeting of Barks Peninsula representatives to meet them and discuss the programme again. A meeting of the Akaroa centennial committee would be held on i November 8, when the Minister's let- | ter would be discussed. '
