EUCHRE PARTIES
• The final night of the Chorlton Hall Company's euchre tournament had some very close scoring- for the aggregate prizes, Mr and Mrs-Charlie Craw and Mr and Mrs Clyde Waghorn tied for Mr W. Craw's "married couples" prize Mr and Mrs Craw winning in the play-off.. Miss .KathleenCraw won Mr W. Craw's prize for the highest individual, score in the last section. The chairman's (Mr C. J. ► Marshall) prizes for the ..highest scores! for the whole season were won by Mrs Salt (ladies) and Mr W. Craw , (men's). The chairman thanked all who had given prizes or helped in -any. way to make the tournaments so successful. :;/■> A "Bring and Buy" table did a> brisk business, vegetables especially were snapped up at once. _ ( f;. The prizes for the last evening s play were won by Mr Salt (men's). Mrs Salt and Mrs Clyde Waghorn tying for the ladies, Mrs Waghorn winning the play off.
