OKAIN'S BAY ROAD BOARD
The monthly meeting was held on Monday when there were present Messrs H. Thacker, P. E. Moore, R. Craw and F. G. Harris. An apology was received from Mr V. Craw. A motion of sympathy was passed with Mr and Mrs O. Gilbert in their i bereavement. It was reported x that arrangements had been made with the le Bons Bay Road Board to repair Boundary Road and Tynans road. The Pigeon Bay Road Board not yet ready for the crusher, but offered to lend their power grader. This was left to the Little Akaloa members to arrange. Mr T. Hodgson, Okains foreman, tendered his resignation, and this was acceptedfl It was decided not to appoint another in the meantime.
