Archdeacon and Mrs Petrie left yesterday to a-tend Synod. While ,- n Christchurch they will be the guests of Canon and Mrs Parr.
Mr F. G. Aimstrong, Mt. Vernon, Akaroa, and Mrs Armstrong left yesterday for Cwrvstchurch where Mr Armstoong will represent St. Peter's Vestry at the Synod.
Mr Agassiz (Christchurch) is spending a holiday at Akaroa where he is the guest of his aunt, Mrs Geo. Wlielch.
