Mrs R. Overend (Christchurch) is the guest of Mr and Mrs L. Lewthwaite, Western Valley, Little River. Miss Nellie Radford (Christchurch) has been visiting her parents Mr and Mrs A. Radford, Cooptown, Little River. Mrs Wilfred Lane( Kaeo. North Auckland) who has been a delegate at the recent conference of the Woniens Division of the N.Z. Farmers' Union at Dnuedin spent the week e„nd with Mrs W. J. Edginton, Akaroa, leaving yesterday on the return journey. Constable C. Dalbeth received word yesterday that his father had been injured in a crossing accident and had been taken to the Thames Hospital. It was stated that there was every likelihood that he injuries were not serious.
