LITTLE RIVER NEWS
FUNDS FOR STAR TENNIS CLUB In aid of funds for the Star Tennis Club, Little River, a flag 500 and dance was held in the Town Hall on Tuesday evening. Mr Geo. Pocock was in charge of the cards and the winners were Mrs A. Radford, Mrs G. Pocock and Miss Myrtle Webster. The usic for dancing was supplied by Miss Maud Mould and Miss Myrtle Webster. Mr L. Humphries was M.C Those present were Mesdames S Le Compte, A. Radford, W. Mould, G. Pocock, A. G-ibb, S. Barclay, J. Patterson, B. Stevens, J. Roberts, H. Cameron, J. Daniels ,T. Robinson. Misses Zoe Pidgeon, Myrtle Webster Ida Archer, Melva Webster, Maud Mould, Doreen Hammond, Jean Barclay, Betty Bennison and Joan Archer, The box of chocolates competition was won by Miss Maud Mould.
