Successful Pficnic. The members of the Okain's Bay Women's Institute held an emjoyaMe picnic on the beach' on' Saturday. Races were won as follows :— Girls undler 5 : Ruth Haines 1, Coral; Harris 2, Zilpha Mason 3. Girls 9 and under: Dolly Coffin 1,, Gwen Choat 2, Val'erie Holstein 3. Girls over 10 : Nola Pidgeon 1, Hope Graham 2, Doreen Moore 3. Boys 9 and under: Ray Harris 1, Derek Haines 2, David' Graham 3. Boys over 10: Jack Hartley 1, Delwyn Mason 2, Mervyn Harris 3. Crab Race : Jack Hartley 1, Delwyn Mason 2. BackHo-back: Doreen Moore and Hope Graham 1. Wheelbarrow (girls) : Doreen Moore and Vaillerie Holstein 1, Hope Graham and Gwen Choat 2. Wheelbarrow (boys) : Ray Harris and Delwyn Mason 1, Jack Hartley and Alf Coffin 2. Three-legged (girls) : Dolly Coffin and Gwen Choat 1, Doreen Moore and Nofe Pidgeon 2.
