DUVAUOHELLE MOiNTIILY STOCK! •SIALE. ! The monthly stock sale was held, at Duvaucheele saleyards on Friday, ' when a line of 33 wethers and about 150 head of cattle were yarded. The ' ( prices for all classes of cattle were 1 maintained at high prices and some ■good lines of two and 1 three-year-old-store bullocks brought big prices. There were not many prime beasts in the fat pens but anything- forward sold well at late rates. ' There was a. fairly large yarding of springers which sold 1 well if of good quality though heifers, which fonrod the major portion of the yardnig were not in such keen demand, j The range of prices was : — j Fat cows 2s Gel' to £16. j Fat heifers £8 7s Gd to .£l4 7s 6d i Yearling steers 1 £5 to £6 2s 6d I Yearling heifers £3 15s to £5 12s Gd j Store cows and 1 heifers £2 17s Gd to ! £6 10s.
