1 The monthly meeting of the Peninsula Saleyards Company was held on Friday when there were present Messrs R. Latter (chairman), W. W. Williams, E. Hay, Jno. Pettigrew and T. W. Wiikins. j l Leave of absence was granted to Mr R. Stewart. 1 Correspondence was read from the Stock Inspector re providing a pen for condemned cattle inspected at' the sale. It was decided to accede tc the request. ' It was decided to renew the over-, draft at the Bank of New Zealand,! Akaroa. I The Secretary reported the yard fees for June amounted' to £.15. I i The Chairman was authorised to appoint a yardman in place of Mr T. Barwick resigned. d A progress payment of £15 was granted to Mr Hayward, contractor for the new yards. Accounts amounting to £200 7s were passed for payment, including ( £150 for timber. ■ ..
