PENINSULA HORSE SHOW.
A meeting of the Committee wae held on Saturday at the Council Chambers, Duvauchello'e. Present—Messrs Robinson (chair man), O. Latter, W, Wright, Newbegin, W arner, R. S. Hay, S Lelievre, G. Checkley, W. McKay, J. Montgomery, H, W. Piper, J. Reid, H. C. Jacobson and Leete. Messrs Newbegin and Warner were added to the commibtee in plaoe of Messrs E. Scott and Barker, who have left the district.
MINUTES. The minutes were confirmed. BALANCI. The Hod. Seo. stated there was a credit balance of £36 Iβ 9d in the bank. THE SHOW It was resolved the Show shonld be held towards the end of October, exact date to be 6xed later. BULES AND REGULATIONS. The rules and regulations were then gone through and the following alterations made : With regard to Rule 12, that no prize ticket previously won should be worn by horses when in the judging ring, competing in another class. It was also resolved that all entires should leave the ground at 12 30 p.m. Last year's catalogue of entries was passed unchanged, with the exception that a thread ing the needle competition was added. PRINTING COMMITTEE The President and Messrs H. W. Piper and Checkley were appointed a printing committee. THE SHOW GROUND. lb was announced that Miss Thacker had kindly granted the uee of the paddock where the show is usually held for the sum of t<vo guineas, aid it was deoided the Hon. Sec. should write her a letter of thanks. COMMITTEES. The President and Messrs Checkley and 8. Lelievre were appointed a CDmmittee to arrange for refreshment booth on the ground and Mr R. S. Hay (Vice-President), and MesersiW. (Wright, H. Piper ard C. Latter to arrange for the lunch for the otnmittee. THE BAND. It was resolved the Hon. Seo. write to the Little River Band, asking them to play on the ground on Horse Show D«y for an honorarium of £5 ss, PRIVILEGES. Ib was resolved that all subscribers of from 10a to 20a to the fund should bo presented with a free ticket of admission. JUDGES. It was resolved that the President, VicePreaident and Mr J. Montgomery be appointed to request certain suitable judges to aot at the Show, two judges to be appointed to aot in each class A motion to have single judgee in each class was lost.
