The later results of the Courning meetirg held on Monday and Tuesday were as follows :—
Second Round. L'Oiseau beat Long Bird Czarina beat La Mouohie Lftseie beat Devil's Knob Whungaroa beal Handel Third Bound L'Oiseao beat Czarin.v Whargaroa beat Lnseie Final
L'Oiseflu b< at Wh*ngaroa. Lassie and fzuina r«n for 3rd place, lasne being the winn-r. The two first does, which were guarded and only ran the 6nal for sport, 'are owned by Mr E. F. Lelievre, the 3rd by Mr B. W. Henning, and the 4th by Mr J J. Kissel. All the runs were *xrcp>inn&Uv good, as there wae euoh a large number of haree that they did not have to run on sandhills. All the < fficers worked excellently and the result «ac a most successful meeting. A meet ing will be held in the Criterion Hotel on Ba , urrtay, at Bp. m., to pass all accounte and consider general business,
