The entry of fat lambs numbered 2000, and there was a brisk demand for freezing lines, and last week's rates were fully maint, ined. Froc-z?re made 12a 6d to 14s 10d, tecs 153 3d to 17s 7d, and butchers' lots 11s to 14a Bd.

There was a heavy yarding of fat cheep, the bulk of them being ewes. Most of the lots were very well finished, and several lines of ewes and wethers were exceptionally prime. The export buyers operated freely for ptime wethers at firmer rates. The supply of beef comprised 250 heai, moßtly of?gnod to prime quality. The tale opened with very slack bidding, and a number of pens were passed, but there was an improvement afterwards, though prices did not reach last week's level. A Hue of sstra prime Hereford and Hereford c , )?e bul'ockp, from the North Island, made £14 35s to £18 53, other steers £6 7s 6d to jrJlO, heift-rs £5 17s to £9, and cowb £5 to £9 2a b<l, equal to 253 to 27s per 1001b. Veo.! calvea were in fair supply, and sold at 10s to £2 ss.

There was a fairly large yarding of fat pigs, but buyers were not operating very freely, and prices were inclined to be easier. Several lines of baconera wore passed 'at ftuciion.
