The Department of Industries and Com , merce bae roeived the.following oablegrnm irom the AgeDt General, dated London, May 26th :—•' The wool sales closed with a good tone all round, and a further advance in medium and coarse crossbred wool. The estimated values of New Zealand wools are as follows :—Fine crossbred lid to Iβ Id per lb, medium 9.1 to coarse 6d to Bid, Superior merino la to Iβ 2d, average lid to Iβ. inferior 9d to IOJ. All lamba wool is from to Id per lb higher than the closing rates of the March ealce.
