LADY PIONEER'S INTERESTING NOTES.
Very interesting indeed are the notes of the life of a lady pioneer, aged sixty-eight— Mrs. Elizabeth Knight, of Masterton—with which we have been favoured for publication.
" I left my home in Hampshire twentyseven years ago, " said she, •* to sail over ten thousand miles of sea to N. Z. For nineteen years I resided iv Tenui, Castle Point, and despite the roughness of a pioteer's life all went well. But when I later on settled in Masterton, ill-health overtook me, and I became a victim to indigestion and kidney troubles. Frequently I grew dizzy and my head would swim round. My appetite failed and I experienced great discomfit after eating. I gradually lost flesh, aud as medical treatment and the taking of tonics did not improve me I naturally became quite despondent. I had suffered for five years like this when I saw Dr. William's pink pills advertiied. I procured some and began taking them. As 1 progres ed with the treatment I staadily improved until I was abie to discontinue them. Now I neither suffer from indigestion nor kidney troubles, and I therefore lecommend Dr. Williim's pink pills with great pleasure. "
The cau-e of indige3tion is generally insufficient or impure blood. When thejblood ia enriched, each organ ot the body has requisite strength given it to perform its funotions. Dr Williams' pink pills give the strength by making new blood ; they also tone up the nerves aud thua cure ansemia, debility, rheumaticm, sciatica, neuralgia, consumption, bronchitis, coughs, colds, St. Vitus' dance, paralysis, effects <f fever etc. Sold by chemists aud storekeepers and by the Dr. Willi una Medicine Co.. Old Custom House Stseet, Wellington, three shill lings pa- box, six boxes sixteen and six, pose fr?p. Mind you ask for Dr. Williams' pink pills when purchasing ; subatit .tea are use leis.
