Tbe balance sheet showed a credit balance of jE'l 12', which vt as very aatief'ctory. The increase in subscription during tbe year wa« £3 18*.
The adoption of the balance-»he>t was carried, bring proposed by Mr R Stawart and auoonded by Mr H Shadbolt.

Shadbolt moved a hearty v** of thanks to tbe retiring officers which was seconded by Mr A. Ho .veil and carried The Hon. Sco resd a lrt'er from Mr C K>dly. of Mesere Penrose and Co.. of Ti'iiarn, offering a silver medal to tie Cnb for a at tbe 500 yards range.
The Hon.. Seo. was desired to communicate with tbe donor, heartily thanking him for bis jift.
It whs resolved tb»t the medal be "hot for in two competition* on Anril 10th and May Ist, 10 shot* at tha 500 yards range, only one score to count-.
Tha prize shooting was derided for the 24'h of April, to commence at 10 30 *.m. eevpn shots «t 200, 500 and 600 yards, and Meesrs R Stewart R. Puttigrew and R Bruce were appointod lundicappera for both medal and priz» shooting.
