The wool sales progress firmly. Since close of last sales superior greasy merino has advanced nearly id per lb ; fi'ie grensy crossbred. _-d per lb ; fine scoured croHsbred, _-d to Id per lb ; coarse crossbred. £d per lb. Other descriptions unchanged Up to date, 77,000 bales have been sold.
At the wool sales there ia keen com petition. The prices remain firm Melbourne, Feb, 4.
The wool market is buoyant. Prices range from par to a farthing higher than the sales ot a fortnight ago. Good comb ing merinos, greasy, brought up to IOJd, do waahed fleeces up to Is greasy •crossbrede, 8d to 9fd, scoured crossbreds 10. 1 to Is OJd.
