ADDINGTON LIVE STOCK MARKET.

Messrs H. Matson and Co., associated with the N. M. and A. Co. of New Zealand (Limited), report : — Fat Sheep—About an average entry to hand. Buyers mustered in full force Compatition was keen, and prices showed an advance on late quotations. Freezing crossbred wethers sold at from 15_ to 16_ 2d ; crossbred wethers and maiden ewes, at from 12s 9d to 14s 6tl ; fat crossbred awes, at from 10s 6d to 14s 3d ; merino wethers, from 7s 6d to 8s 9d.

Fat Lambs— tjimited number yarded. Competition was good, and late rates were fully maintained. B-st lambs sold at from 12s 91 to 15s each ; medium, at from 9s to lis 6d each.

Store Sheep—About an average entry to hand, competition was very keen, and increased activity was evidenced by all sorts and conditions of buyers. Prices showed an advancH on late quotations. Two-tooth crossbred wetlißrs sold at from 9d fid to ID* ; 4-tooth hnlfnred wethers nude from 10a to 10h 9d ; store lambs made from 7s to 8-i 31 ; sound mouthed halfbred ewes realised from 6a to 6s lOd.

Fat Cattle—Medium entry to hand, competition waa not so keen as last week. Prices ruled a shade lower. Steora sold at from £5 15s to £7; heifers realised from £5 to £6 17< 61 ; cowa sold at from £4 10a to £6, for best.

Dairy Cattle —Large entiy, competition was kebn, and a brink sale was evidenced. B.iat cows sold at from £5 to £7 10i ; medium do £4 to £4 15s.

Store Cattle—Very small entry, no lines on offer.

Pigs—Lirge entry to hand, competition was very good especially for strong stores.
