Wool—Since the local auctions last weeU there has been a good demand privately and we have quitted a considerable quantity at values in most instances a shade better than the prices ruling at the sale. Our total sales for that series now amount to 1500 bales. The London sales opened on the 27th inst., 382,000 bales having arrived, of which 330000 were available for cataloguing, the balance going direct to the manufacturing districts. From the tenor of our advices so far, we gather that the sales have commenced Biightly in favor of Boilers, which nffords good grounds for hope that values have touched bottom and that there will be no further decline, therefore prospects are more hopeful than recent cables indicated, Grase Seeds—Very little new Beed bus been offered as yet, and as the quality of what is to hand is very varied there is likely (o be a wide range in values this eeßHon. We quote farmers' parcels 3s 3d to 4s 3d per bushel, town machine-dressed 5s to bi 6d per bushel. Cocksfoot—A few samples of new to hand, the quality of which is fairly good.
