THE LONDON MARKET.
Factory made butter, ex e.s. lonic from New Zealand, sold at 115s per cwt. Wool is firm and prices unchanged. The butter market is drooping, Danish has fallen 10s per cwt, and Australian and New Zealand 6a. At the wool saleß crossbroda were £-1 perlb, and good combing merinos slightly dearer as compared with prices at the December series. Medium nnd inferior merinos are quoted at the same price as last sales, bat tome lots sold at slightly lower rates.
The wool market is spirited, and American firms are making large purchases.
