I HEREBY NOTIFY that it is the intention of the Okain's District Road Board to erect a NEW WHARF at Little Akaloa, and to raise from the Government a sum of £500 : to be expended in erecting wharf, forming road to same, and paying the first year's interest on loan. And that a SPECIAL RATE of THREE-SIXTEENTHS of a PENNY in the POUND will be levied on the Little Akaloa part of the .district, as described in Special Order herewith, as security for such loan. • A MEETING of Ratepayers in that part of district will be held at the Schoolhouse, Little Akaloa, on FRIDAY, November 80th, 1888, to consider the above proposal.
