AKAROA COUNTY COUNCIL. -]SJ*OTICE IsIIEREBY GIVEN 1\ that, at the annual meeting of the Akaroa County Council, to be holden at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, the 28th day of November, 1888, it is the intention of the Council to Make, Levy, and Collect a RATE of ONE HALFPENNY in the £ on all the Rateable Property in the County (in accordance with " ihe Counties Act, 1886, and Amendments," and "The Rating Act, 1882, and Amendments,") for the lollowing period, from Ist April, 1888, to Sist March, 1889, the said rate to be payable in one sum at the County Council Chambers, Duvauchelle's Bay, on the Ist day of January, 1889. And further, that the several Rate Books for the different Ridings in the County will be open for inspection at the Council Chambers, Duvauchelle's Bay, on and after the Ist day of December, 1888. O.
