Alexandra Cricket Club.

The annual meeting of the above; club was held on Saturday evening last. Mr Hosie was voted to the chair, the attendance being somewhat small. The balance-sheet was read and adopted, and the election of officers resulted as follows : —President, Mr Hosie ; vice - presidents, Messrs Webster, Cahill, M'Clintock, J. D. Thomson, Gorman, M'Lean ; secretary and treasurer, Mr L. Churchill ; committee, Messrs Parsons, Burnside, Partridge, E. Churchill, Smith, Dennison ; match committee, Messrs Burnside, Smith and secretary ; practice captains, Messrs Burnside and W. King. Resolved—That the captain be selected by the team chosen for the lirst match. The member's fee was fixed at ss. The secretary was instructed to procure any necessary material.
