Goldfields Challenge Shield.

The third annual competition for the Goldfields Challenge Shield was fired at Arrowtown on Thursday last, and resulted in a win for the Queenstown Rifles by a majority of 12 points. Tne weather was unfavorable, a choppy wind blowing throughout the day, and in consequence the shooting was some what erratic. The Alexandra Rifle.team had to be content with fourth place, their total beinjj 461 points as against the winters' 530. Following are detailed scores :
