MUST KEEP AWAY FROM POWER BLOCS NEW DELHI, September 20. India must keep away from both world power blocs, Mr Purshottamdas Tan don, the newly-elected president of the Indian National Congress, declared in Nasik to-day. V“But it is not impossible that at some future date we may for the protection of our country have to consider establishing closer relations with one of these two blocs.” Mr Tandon was speaking at the annual session of Congress, the country’s ruling party. The Indian Prime Minister (Mr Nehru) was among those present.
