MR DULLES ACCEPTS INVITATION WASHINGTON, Aug: 17. ; Mr John Foster . Dulles announced to-day that he had accepted tation by President Truman to become a delegate to the United Nations Gem eral Assembly, which is scheduled to meet next month. " ' Mr Dulles said he would continue as Republican Party foreign policy consultant to the Secretary of State (Mr Dean Acheson). - •• “At this critical time, the supreme task is that of making the United. Nations into an effective instrument: for peace and justice,” he added. ‘T welcome the opportunity to help.” z.
