RUSSIA RESUMES ORE SHIPMENTS WASHINGTON, Aug. 17. The Soviet Union resumed shipments of vital chrome and manganese ore to the United States in June, after a lapse of four months, said the Commerce Department to-day. The United States' received 600,000 dollars’ worth of these metals among 3,000,000 dollars’ worth of imports from the Soviet in June. Imports from the Soviet satellite countries in June totalled 8,100,00 Q dollars. American exports to the Soviet and her satellites in June totalled 9,800,000 dollars. Less than 50,000 dollars’ worth of these goods went to the Soviet Union.
