MITCHAM-ROKEBY BRANCH At the July meeting of the MitcliamRokeby Women’s Division of Federated Farmer,s Mrs Knight presided over an excellent attendance. Mrs Milne (executive president) gave a comprehensive report of the 1950 annual conference, held in Wellington, which was very much enjoyed. Mrs Cleland, on behalf of the members, thanked Mrs Milne for her most interesting report. Competitions, judged by Mrs Milne, resulted: —Rest bloom, Mrs Fleming 1, Mrs Jenkins 2, Mrs Cleland 3; spike or truss, Mrs Crossen 1, Mrs Jenkins 2, Mrs Geddes article made from one yard of cotton material, Mrs Hurst 1, Miss Magson 2, Mrs Crossen 3; jar of relish, Miss Magson 1, Mrs Fleming 2, Mrs Crossen 3.
