ANTARCTIC RESEARCH

NORWEGIAN EXPEDITION (Rec. 10 a.m.) OSLO, July 28. The Norwegian Polar Institute has chartered the 700-ton sealer Nor'sel, which took the Norwegian, British and Swedish expedition to Queen Maud Land for an expedition to the Antarctic, which will start from Oslo on November 15. This expedition intends to make an air .photo-grammetric map of the coastline of Queen Maud Land, between 15 degrees east and 20 degrees west. It is hoped to, start the work in the first week in January, and finish before February 1, when at attempt will be made to land near the winter station of Maudheim.' Professor Harald Sverdrup, director of the Norwegian Polar Institute, will be in charge of the expedition.
