NEW COMMITTEES NOMINATIONS RECEIVED Nominations for school committees closed yesterday. The absence of a postal delivery on the holiday has complicated matters, and some chairmen are holding the lists open till receipt of to-day’s mail. The Borough School is the only one with a complete list, so far as can be ascertained. The nominations are: R. D. Butterick, L. A. Colville, E. It. Easterbrook, F. Esker, J. S. McLauchlan, K. L. Moore, C. A. Stanley, C. Scott and. R M. Todd. Messrs Scott and Todd are new nominees The chairman of the Ashburton East committee (Mr A. M. Sutherland) has only three nominations, and is holding his list. Allenton has only four, Messrs J. F. Burrows, S. H. Curd, W. B. Elwood and C. M. Thomas (all members of the old committee).
