GERALDINE SENIORS BEAT OLD BOYS Two teams from the Old Boys Football Club journeyed to Geraldine on Saturday to play friendly matches against the Geraldine Club. The Geraldine senior team, which won the South Canterbury championship last year, defeated the visiting senior team by 28 points to 8. after leading 20 points to nib at half-time. However, the game was very Avon, the Old Boys pack being superior in all departments, but it was the kicking of the All Black trialist, N. Hobbs, who secured 19 points off his boot for Geraldine.
