JEWELL —On April 2, 1950, at her daughter’s residence, Bennetts, North Canterbury, Susannah Lucy, dearly beloved wife of William Jewell, 86 Alford Forest Road, Ashburtojf, and much loved mother of Mrs L. J. McKeage (Bennetts), Mrs S. H. Saxby (Lower Hutt), Mrs M. B. Cooke (Christchurch), Fred (Christchurch), and Arthur (Lower Hutt); in her 74th year.
REITH—On April 3, 1950, at Ashburton, Elizabeth Reith, dearly beloved widow of Alexander Reith, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and loved mother of Alexander , (Plimmerton), Robert (Ealing), Mrs A. Donaldson (Elgin) and the late John Reith (Stratford); in her 91st year. Passed peacefully to her'rest.
