R.S.A. PIANO FUND
WOMEN’S SECTION FUNCTION The monthly social afternoon of the women’s section of the Ashburton R.S.A. on Thursday last took the form of a bring-and-buy in aid of the piano fund. Mrs R., Templeton presided. An enjoyable programme was given by Mrs A. Todd (vocal solos), Miss K. Mann (recitations) and Misses L. Reid, P. Armstrong and J. Colville (piano trio).
A competition was won by Miss K. E. Hopkins. Proceeds of the sale, together with a generous donation from Dr. J. Russell Wells amounted to £7 2s fid.
