ADOPTS WIFE AS DAUGHTER
STRANGE JAPANESE CASE TOKIO. A G9-year-old Japanese has successfully applied to adopt his own wife as a daughter so that he may marry another woman without his wife leaving the family. Bewildered registi’ation clerks discovered there was nothing to stop him doing so as long as he first obtained a divorce. The man admitted he had fallen in love with a 58-ye*r-old woman.
