FIGURE OF LAZARUS ! * (Rec. 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 10. Jacob Epstein has completed another major work—a 7|ft. high figure of Lazarus, weighing ll tons. It represents Lazarus loosening his funeral wrappings, with his head drooping upon his shoulders and the arms pendant. . The work is being exhibited at the Leicester Square galleries, together with 24 bronze heads and busts also by Epstein.
