EVENING MEETING ABSENCE OF TOP ATHLETES The absence of leading athletes, who "ai-e resting’ before the national junior and decathlon championships in Christchurch this week-end, resulted in a decrease of entries at the Ashburton Amateur Athletic Club’s meeting last evening.
