ASHBURTON TEAM FOR CULLEN SHIELD MATCH

SWIMMING

The triangular swimming carnival for the Cullen Shielcl, between teams from Ashburton, South Canterbury, and North Otago will be held in the Allenton baths on Saturday. The following officials were appointed by the Ashburton Swimming Centre last evening: Referee, Mr S. 'Bhompson; starter-stewaud, Mr J. Burrows; timekeepers, Messrs V. Bowman, N. Robilliard and A. Stayt; starters, Messrs A. Stills and C. Campbell; diving jiklges, Messrs N. McCrea, P. Vincent and IT. Thompson; swimming judges, Messrs J. Arthur sen., H. Mills, Roy McGregor; handicapper, Mr C, Campbell; check starters, Messrs J. Smallbone and O. Spicer; women’s steward, Mrs R. W. Plunkett; men’s steward, Mr G. Petrie; judges’ steward, Mr R. Davies.
