OBJECT REPORTED IN BUSH (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Jan. 4. There is a possibility that the Canterbury Aero Club’s Tiger Moth aircraft ZK-AHX, and its two occupants, Mr lan Palmer, a cadet pilot of Wigram, and his father, Mr Oswald Palmer, of Auckland, will be found tomorrow. The aircraft failed to reach New Plymouth after it left Wanganui at 2 p.m. on Thursday. A report was received by the New Plymouth police at a late tour last night that a farmer had reported sighting a silver object glistening in the sun on Friday near Hastings' Hill, Mangawhero Road. The object was sighted about four miles in from the bush line. The area is near Kaponga. Constable J. Donoghue, of inspected the object through fieldglasses to-day, but failed to determine what it was.- He will lead a search party to the area at daybreak to-mor-row morning.
