MORMON RELIGION

BENEFIT TO GENEVA GENEVA. Genova City authorities are profiting from the Mormons’ efforts to trace their ancestors and baptise them after death, as the religion permits. For the last three months, a girl photographer has been taking up to 1500 pictures a day of the Geneva Church and civil registers. When her work is finished she will send one copy of each plate to Mormon headquarters in Salt Lake City "and leave one for the Geneva authorities. This naturaly delights the Geneva City councillors, who are thus as-' sured of photographic reproduction of all their registers from the time of Calvin—without paying a single centime. Basle has also accepted the request of the Mormons to copy its registers, and so add to the Mormons’ “Find your Ancestor’’ library in Salt Lake City.
