TURKISH DEPUTY ARRESTED

SEQUEL TO REPORT OF PLOT ANKARA, Dec: 3. iteuter says that a member of the Turkish National Assembly, Mr Reshad Aydinlu, who reported last month that there was' a plot to assassinate the President (General Inonu) and overthrow the Government, was arrested to-day. He will be tried for. slander. His Parliamentary immunity was lifted a few days ago. It was announced on November 17 that Mr Aydinlu had told the Government that three Opposition deputies of the National Party planned to overthrow the Government by killing the President and the Opposition Democratic Party leader. A Parliamentary committee investigated the reoort but found that there was insufficient evidence to incriminate the three deputies.
