COAL STRIKE IN NIGERIA
NORMAL WORK RESUMED LAGOS (Nigeria), December 2. Six thousand miners who have been on a “go-slow” strike for higher wages since November 8 have resumed work at the Enugu coalfields, where 20 were killed a fortnight ago when 4 the police fired during rioting.
