DOG SHOW
CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS SUCCESSFUL FIXTURE At the Dog Show in Ashburton on Saturday the winner of the John Grigg Cup for best of all breeds was a cocker spaniel “Ngaiwi Sunset,” by Mr and Mrs A. Carian, of Seaview Kennels, Foxton. This was an outstanding exhibit and the public showed their appreciation of the judge’s decision in a good round of applause. It was interesting to note that there were more local exhibitors showing this year than there has been'for a number of years, and their dogs compared favourably with other exhibits. It was gratifying, indeed, to the committee, who have put so much work into the organisation of the show, to see it so successfully carried through.
