LUCKY ESCAPE

CAR ROLLS DOWN BANK (P.A.) - BLENHEIM, This Day. Five employees of the Picton freezing works had an amazing escape last night when their car went off the road and crashed 200 feet down a bank. The car somersaulted several times and the men were thrown clear one by one. Four escaped with nothing more than a few scratches but the other was admitted to hospital with minor injuries. The men were Messrs J. Kelly, H. Yarral, K. Neal and C. Davis-Goff, all of Picton, and M. Langman, of Parakoa, North Auckland.
