UNFIT BREAD

TWO BAKERIES CHARGED (P.A.) AUCKLAND, December 2. Charges of selling bread unfit for consumption were brought against two Auckland bakery firms in the Magistrate’s Court to-day. Both pleaded not guilty. Mr F. McCarthy, S.M., reserved his decision.

Gordon Stace, Government analyst, said an examination was made of objects in loaves sent by purchasers to the Health Departtment, and it was concluded that they were mouee droppings.
