TN pursuance of the Licensing Act, A ' 1908, and the amendments thereto, I, WALTER HAYMES, Returning Officer for the ASHBURTON Licensing District, do hereby give notice that on the 30th day of NOVEMBER, 1949, the day appointed for taking the Electoral Poll for the Electoral District of ASHBURTON, simultaneously therewith a LICENSING POLL will be taken upon the following proposals: NATIONAL CONTINUANCE. Nominations of persons to appoint scrutineers in accordance with the Licensing Act, 1908, and the amendments thereto, in respect of each of the said proposals must be lodged with me not later than five o’clock in the afternoon of the 18th day of NOVEMBER, 1949.
