FORBIDDEN ZONES
Russians Moving Many People (Rec. 12.5 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. IS. Big new movements of people are reported in Russia, says the “Daily Express” Paris correspondent. Diplomatic officials said to-night that 50,000 persons had been shifted east from, Latvia, and Soviet Slavs brought in. Forbidden zones have been set up in Baltic lands, and a six-mile-wide defence belt ran along the Czech and Hungarian borders, they said. It was reported from Washington yesterday that Russia whs clearing all people of foreign origin from the Caucasus, supposed to be the zone of the recent atomic explosion. ,r
