ANGRY AUSTRIAN CROWD
BRITISH TROOPS PROTECT RUSSIANS (Rec. 11.0 a.m.) LONDON, August 22. The United Press Vienna correspondent says that the British troops liad to protect three Russian officers and their jeep driver to-day after an angry Austrian crowd had released the Austrian from a Russian jeep and placed him in a passing ambulance, according (o an announcement by the Ministry cf the Interior. ~ The Austrian shouted for help when the Russian jeep pulled up in the British sector and sought directions to a suburb in the Russian sector. A car and a heavy lorry, driven by Austrians, were pulled in front of the jeep while the crowd overwhelmed the Russians and released their prisoner.
