INTERPRETATION OF RULES ALL BLACK COMMENTS ON LACK OF UNIFORMITY (Rec. 10.30 a.m.) PRETORIA, Aug. 18. At a dinner to the teams after yesterday’s match, R. A. Dalton expressed concern at the lack of uniformity over the interpretation of Rugby laws by referees. The main aspects were scrummaging and line-outs. Little had been stated publicly, he said, because the All Blacks desired to co-operate with their hosts,'but many interpretations had completely confounded the All Blacks. He hoped that a strong drive would he made to try to reach at least a reasonable measure of uniformity. The All Black team to play Griqualand West at Kimberley on Saturday is:— , Full-hack: R. W. H. Scott or J. W. Goddard. >. Three-quarters: W. A. Meates, M. P. Goddard, P. Henderson. Five-eighths: K. E. Gudsell, N. W. Black.
