burton wins golf fixture (Rec. 9.25 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 18. Dick Burton, the former open golt champion won the “News-Chronicle £ISOO sterling professional golf tourmanent at Brighton to-day with a .e----cord British aggregate of 266 for 72 holes. His rounds were 68, 66, 64 and 68. Burton won by a margin of 12 strokes from Jimmy Adams, the Scottish international, who finished with an aggregate of 278. Burton and Adams both returned rounds of "64 to beat the existing course record by two strokes.
