POPE TELEVISED
BENEDICTION TO VIEWERS * (Rec. 9.30 a.m.) PARIS, April 17. “We expect the most far-reaching consequences from television by the ever more dazzling revelation of truth to fair minds,” said his Holiness the Pope after he was televised to-day for the first time. A French television service, transmitted a film which was sent from*the Vatican. The Pope at the close of the film gave his benediction to viewers.
